It seems Big Boss Marathi is more often anchored by the cynical Shilpa Shinde on social media instead of host Mahesh Manjrekar who reacts on Twitter without any self-intellect on par with Smita Gondkar whom he always singles out and lashes disregardfully every weekend. Big Boss should prohibit all of their crew members against commenting on social media. Although, I personally have no such favorite contestant but it seems Mr. Manjrekar more often or less has a soft corner for Megha and her group especially Usha Tai, who many of us viewers really feel should have been ousted from the house by now. Recently, came across the fuss about Nandkishor Chaughule's task being very unfair and unethical but in fact, it was being executed as per inventory sent by Big Boss himself. I feel he did full justice with the assigned task and entertained us thoroughly which brought fresh interest in watching the show after the teary and boring episodes of family-reunion. The show's format is proceeding in such a way that it is making male contestants insecure against the female contestants because after any particular week's task there is always this feeling of woman empowerment in Mr. Manjrekar's body language which has resulted in people voting against more male contestants. Bhushan Kadu was a very sincere and deserving player but everyone knows how Smita and Sharmishta's bikini show near pool somewhat garnered them more votes than him. Its high time Mr. Manjrekar should mend his language and stop mocking male contestants as any discriminating comment made by him is indirectly addressed on all us male fraternity. Incidentally, my mom and sister also feel that female contestants in the house should be treated on par with male contestants without any special status. Itโs funny that we have no issues watching cruel stuff on daily soaps or movies but when it is shown on reality show, a certain sect of the audience tend to overreact on social media and then Big Boss starts plotting against that contestant to save their face.
