This show really needs to challenge itself more now as the format is getting quite tired.
The themes of loved ones and family need to go. Contestants shouldn't be able to focus their whole competition of one cuisine type which happens frequently and lazily despite the experiment tests.
The tests in the real restaurants need to result in contestants leaving so they have direct consequences of their real life tests in a kitchen.
The contestants need to be challenged with budgets, sustainable sourcing and cook more than two courses to build an actual menu.
I do still enjoy the show but it needs to evolve.
Great to see some new ideas this year.
