There are two characters in this movie. The other girls are basically NPCs because they're never given any moment to shine so I'm told they have depth but I don't see it, and I can't bring myself to care! The rest of Saja, it's intended for them to not matter quite clearly, but honestly if you have a three people group you could at least make an effort to spend some time on each of them!
And that also means I couldn't enjoy the main characters. Rumi has interesting problems and development (although honestly it is kind of overdone) except all I feel is MAJOR ANNOYANCE because of that blatant main character syndrome! And Jinu didn't really interest me either, I feel like his character really falls flat (especially since his point on demons not being all bad is completely ruined by the fact no demon shows any sign of nuance besides him).
The worst part is I see everyone hyping this movie up and I have no idea what they see in it. I didn't even find the jokes funny, and I couldn't get attached to the characters, and that's kind of all there is to this movie, since the setting is barely explored. And since most of the songs weren't my thing, I couldn't even try to use that as a redeeming quality.
