Starts with such promise, then quickly fades after episode 3, into the mundane, focusing far too much on boring relationships. It doesn't help that most of the main cast is uninspiring, the best of which was killed off in episode 3. There's far too many holes in this story, that can't be covered up by it being sci-fi. Perhaps the books handle this better, but I don't feel inspired enough to find out.
