This movie is chilling and enthralling, and Dylan Sprouse plays this role excellently. I think while an ending where Lucas "won" would have been more satisfying, but the chosen ending is moderately realistic, seeing as Lucas is young and inexperienced. Given more years to develop his sociopathy, he would definitely have prevailed, which is a sequel I'd love to see.
