I loved reading the book,. I had been in Santiago Chile in 19 98 visiting my father’s relatives. I was there with my husband Ralph for three weeks. I we were at Pedro Naruda’s home.I related to so many historical ,visual places,,history ,family experiences, that were in this book. I also enjoyed following Isabel Allende’sfamily history and also read about her own life through her interviews and personal life. I live in Winnipeg and when I read about the Ship of HOPE was called winnipeg that was quite a surprise.
