If I could give this series 10 stars I would,for someone who is somewhat apathetic overrides emotion through practicality,this series made me want to cry and I did 3 days after finishing it,the acting, visuals , costumes, fighting scenes are breathtaking with a compelling story line,it teaches so many lessons on the deeds and actions of love be it unrequited or selfless it shows how it can heal and transform lives that it's not easy. It has very good actors starring Dylan Wang(represented many people who have faced difficulties in expressing emotions or to deal with otherwise complex situations such as happiness and love, you'll see later on in series that his character arc changes as he is self sacrificical),Esther Yu (represented Orchid, the sun,an energetic,brave but also silly she compels the audience to smile, her character develops over time )and second male lead role Zhangling he who played as lord Changheng (a relentless sources of unrequited love and right doing ) and many other fascinating actors they all contributed to portray a beautiful novel and bring it to life. Go and watch it,please do,I promise you won't regret it And a wonderful appreciation to the music artists who made wonderful instrumentals.
