For anyone wondering whether this show is worth watching, trust me it is! This show was definitely like none other. Most K-dramas have their plots revolve around romance or at least have a good amount of romance in it. But SKY Castle was just something else. The first episode may seem a bit boring but I assure you just watch it till the end and you'll be binging the show before you even know it. The plot is so strong and keeps you on the edge, guessing what could have happened. It sucks you right in. The cast did an amazing job in conveying the feelings their characters felt. It was so real. I barely ever cry in shows but I cried at least 6 times because the cast did such an amazing job making the audience feel exactly what their characters felt. This show never failed to keep me so interested and excited. The story line was so unique and I think that's the main reason why people love it so much. Expectations is something every single person can relate to- you don't have to be a certain age to empathise with the characters of the show since people of all ages knows what it feels like to have expectations put on them (at least to some extent). Because this drama is so relatable I feel like every single person who watches this can empathise with the characters. Again, the emotions were portrayed so well. I don't think anyone can go through the show without crying at least once. I really appreciate the fact that the show was incredible even though it had such a small amount of romance. Most shows have terrible plots and would be a fail if it weren't for the cuteness of the romance but this show was outstanding on its own without the need of that. I must admit, at the start I hated a lot of characters but as I continued the show and saw everything from their point I really did understand them and I feel like Han Seo Jin/ Gwak Mi hyang had the biggest character development and I'm really glad. You eventually come to understand all the characters, even the most terrible ones like Coach Kim Joo Young. For me, I really sympathised with her when it came to her daughter K. The drama was flawless and the humour just made this one that I find no faults in. The ending of how everyone ended up happy and really realised the importance of family just made my heart melt especially for professor Kang and Ye Seo's mum. I won't spoil anything for you, but I really recommend this show. It is definitely worth a watch!!
