Movie is good but not great. It successfully takes you to another world (the 50’s) but it is also slow and the filmmaker could have done a bunch more with the 2 hrs – in the respect of hinting to the ending and what’s really taking place in the film. Also it feels like it takes long too get to that turning point when the watcher learns that not everything is what it seems in that universe. I would recommend it but not if you like every single question of yours answered. It is thought provoking though and reflective of new technology.

On a scale of 1-10 scary this movie is a solid 8. It's not overwhelmingly scary but more gory and disgusting. Lowkey after watching it, I have a headache from being so grossed out by the gore and distressed. In terms of story, I think the plot is there but it could have been a lot better with some tweaks and more suspenseful. Good ending. The nuclear radiation storyline leaves a lot of room for creativity but also it's really gross to see. Crazy to think it's all makeup. I give it a good 7.5/10 for the story's revenge plot and ending. Please don't watch this if you are easily triggered or have PTSD from sexual assault.
