I've read 6 of the books. The series doesn't follow the books exactly, and definitely not in season 2, but the TV series is wonderful in its own way. The visuals are fantastic and I believe the cast is spot on. Don't know why people are hating on this series like is shames their mother or something. I believe it is 100% worth the watch
