I am writing this a year after playing, having come to realize how underrated this game is. LotF 2023 is the perfect game for those of us who believe that Miyazaki took a few wrong turns with Elden Ring. While being a sincere and heart-felt homage to everything Dark Souls, this world manages to add so much to the table, with very few hiccups. A million times more finely crafted than Lies of P and other recent pretenders, and, dare I say, more souls-like than Elden Ring. Devs should be commended for their passion, and for a near-perfect product.
