Alex Ffinch demonstrates a flawless technique and level of precision in this program, which includes a satisfying mixture of well known classics along with some more esoteric repertoire. As a result, the album is accessible to all to appreciate (whether an organist or not). I find this recording of “F. Price’s Organ Suite No 1” particularly exciting, in which he shows off an impressive and musically intelligent interpretation of this criminally under appreciated work. I highly recommend!
