A bit late posting a review here, but there's a few things that really need to be said about this disaster of a game. The main thing being Activision's poor business decision to make Call of Duty an online only game. Since MW3 2023 I believe, you have not been able to play the SINGLE PLAYER campaigns without a constant internet connection. The always on DRM trend really needs to stop, especially for single player modes.
That's only the beginning of this problem though. During my several attempts to play the campaign last year, I was met with over 2 server disconnections per session and was kicked out of the campaign both times. So it was not only a poor decision to make it online only, the servers the campaign and multiplayer are tied to are unstable as all hell. And I know it's not my internet either, there were countless reddit threads and complaints across websites from players about frequent server disconnections.
I also happen to lose my campaign progress as well, and of course I wasn't the only one who had that happen either. I could go on and on about the many problems with this game and the state of the franchise, but it would be too long of a review. Do not waste 69.99$ on this. You're better off either playing older Call of Duty games or single player only shooters with no Always on DRM.
