Just watched the first episode of For All Mankind. Confused about their references to Astronaut Gus Grissom. Early in the episode, Deke makes reference to being with the Mercury astronauts when the Russians landed on the moon first. He says the Gus did not know what to say. Then later on, reference is made to losing astronauts Grissom, White, and Chaffee in the Apollo 1 fire. So is Gus alive or did he die in the fire? Did anyone else catch this apparent discrepancy? Otherwise, it was a good first installment for this series.
