Since my childhood when i first watched this show on Doordarshan , it was my first introduction to the History of India. The serial was very perfectly narrated as well presented in relation to the original book. It induces a person to go into researching the more detailed books written on Indian history. i hope, On more Book , written on world history by Nehru , titled The Glimpses of World history , shall also be one day Televised in the same pattern.
