As some who read the Webtoon prior to this adaption (Which I highly recommend, characters are further investigated and the story in my opinion is far more grounded and logical). But if looking at the drama for what it is, I must say it accomplished what it set out to do.
It tells a story of struggle with a dash of internal conflict (between only 2 to 4 different characters) but besides that it has a very high B-film feel. Monsters look and sound great and have decent scenes. Some characters have great motivations while others fall extremely flat and in most cases unbelievable.
Music was and is a huge issue in this show, we get everything from Fall Out Boys to Imagine Dragons and it shatters emotional and even stressful scenes and honestly made the show comedic instead of horrifying.
The make-up and body horror though was decent. And as a reader and now viewer I enjoyed it, questioned some choices but enjoyed it nonetheless.
I would recommend this to those who haven't read the webtoon or choose simply not to. But for those who have read the webtoon know that this is NOT a 1 to 1 characters that you loved have changed and the story has lost a lot of focus and major plot points.
