I never heard of the book or saw the film but just binged watched One Day on Netflix. I absolutely loved it from start to finish. I thought the actors were amazing, in particular those playing the leads roles of Emma and Dexter. I was enraptured from the first episode to the last. It’s a love story which spans two decades. The story is beautifully told. It’s funny, emotional, clever snd just s bit different to the usual boy meets girl stories. I can’t see anyone not really enjoying this series as you can’t help but care about the characters. The supporting cast are also fabulous. A must see but you will need a hanky.
