I landed upon this purely by mistake, but somehow ended up watching fully. Its a decent drama, and similar to many other family centric Kdramas, this one too goes through an extensive mix of events, love and joy as well as despair and difficulties. Most of the cast did a decent job. The lead characters as well, for the most part were good. Though very lengthy with 50 Episodes, it wasn't very boring. It has a few annoying moments though. I would say that Jin Soojung was the most remarkable character. Hyunjae's proposal was beautiful (EP35). Grandfather and Hyunjae's father were notable as well. And Mirae is carbon copy of my immature cousin:) Watch this if you like family Kdramas.

YES LOVE HAS NO BOUNDARIES. The makers of the drama has conveyed this message well. The plot did lose steam somewhere in the middle, but the characters did a tremendous job of keeping it alive and enthused. The energy and charisma of every character is the specality of this drama. Various relationships and emotions were portrayed beautifully, especially between the North Korean soldiers and Son Ye Jin, and how they look after each other. Son Ye Jin did almost stole the show completely with her amazing charisma. No offense to Hyun Bin - but this is definitely not Alhambra guyz. The other couple - Seung-joon & Dan & their ill fate was sad - I didn't bother much tho as I focused on the main plot. Also that Pyo Chi Su character deserves a special mention. He was damn funny. Almost all songs were awesome. "It's Destiny & Longing Hill" playing in the background while I'm typing this :) Seeing that North Korean village made me kind of nostalgic. Poverty aside, that charm which countryside always had is missing nowadays. Once again I really liked how the makers tried to go beyond boundaries & differences for the sake of love :) May not be practical but definitely gives a good feeling. Wishing for the Reunification of Korean Peninsula. *END* Wrote this when the series began: Started off well. Everyone rightly talking about couple chemistry :) that was in plenty! The show also tries to portray the lifestyle differences between DPRK & ROK. Hope world will see a unified Korea sooner, much before 2045! Update: 6 Episodes over and what a fantastic journey it has been! The first few sequences were totally conquered by Son Ye Jin's charisma and now slowly we are getting into seeing Hyun Bin's real performance. This drama really has got everything right - Romance, Comedy, Suspense, Thrill and now Action as well! Top class! Can't wait for the next episodes!

Landed upon this seeing the lead pair. And this drama didn't disappoint me at all. It may not make perfect sense for all but atleast thriller lovers should enjoy this well. The 'twist' factor was the most exciting thing, right from beginning till the end. This is one of those few dramas where almost all the scenes/dialogues are important and linked to the main storyline. The OST "Dream On" was also beautiful. Appreciate the makers - Writer, Director, also Lee Sang Yoon ssi and Lee Bo Young ssi (big fan after watching MOTHER). Chukhahamnida.

FANTASTIC SHOW! I wanted to watch this for long but somehow couldn't. Finally got an opportunity. And as expected, this was so intriguing that I finished all 37 Episodes (S1&2) in less than 3 days. This show is character centric — led by Dr Kim Sa Bu (Han Suk-kyu) & his fellows. Kim Sa Bu's reckless behaviour (as a Dr) at first raises eyebrows but as we deep dive into the circumstances/reasoning, we see that his actions are justified. With amazing determination & intuitive confidence, he goes on to any extent to save patients — even if that means not going by the rule book — which often leads to various issues. What's intriguing is that behind his temerity, we soon discover meticulous planning and deep research. Another interesting thing is to watch how the fellow Doctors manage to cop up with Kim Sa bu's speed and skills, & how they mature over time learning their lessons. The performance of every character was fantastic. Apart from Kim Sa Bu, I will put Yoon Seo Jung (Seo Hyun-jin), Seo Woo Jin (Ahn Hyo-seop) & Nurse Oh a bit high over others. This show has huge merit — it's totally enjoyable & inspirational as well. I can even watch it again. And this should stand on its own - we don't need to compare it with other medical dramas (like Code Black or so) Looking forward for a third season!!! (ofcourse with return of first season's lead characters)

SUPERB!!! ITS THE BEST!!! Just finished watching the last episode. Already, this show was on its way to become one of my all time favourite romcoms. It's too good, so much so that I've watched several episodes over and over again - and still continuing to do so! The best thing about this drama is the top class comedy. Especially actor Kim Won Hae, who played Chief Editor Choi Go deserves an award for his fantastic performance (Even better than Do Bong Soon). You won't stop laughing watching EP 3,4,5,7,8,10...& the 15th EP is awesome 😂😂😂. The lead pair ofcourse is charming & have a nice chemistry. Jung So Min looks lovely as expected, and will surely win viewer's hearts with her charisma. The character Na Young Won often captivates with her altruism. Kim Ji Seok too, performed great & adapted really well into his role. Romance apart, even the comedy scenes of him with So Min (before they confessed) & also with Kim Won Hae is superb. That's a complete change compared to his last year's serious drama 'My Unfamiliar Family' (I did like it). I'm also impressed by the way the makers created this content. They knew exactly what to show, what the viewer would like to see next, and what would keep him/her enthused. They've tried their best to make sure that there is not even a single moment to complain. The only time I felt a bit strange was during the breakup part - even then, the makers knew what was needed to get both the viewer and the plot back on track. The reunion was so good that all that gloom went away. 😃 The ending was abrupt as usual with any Kdrama, but still, it was beautiful. In any case, I would welcome positive stories like this anyday over any sort of violent, crime series - got fed-up watching such content. The OST's are fantastic as well. For those who haven't watched yet, I must say - don't miss this folks. (End) Wrote this when the show began (glad it exceeded my expectations): Very Nice. I usually like simple feelgood dramas with a mix of romance, comedy and emotions. This show meets all such expectations. For now, it's just six episodes - and it's going really well right from the beginning. The plot is good - certainly enjoyable and intriguing too, particularly when it comes to personal stories/struggles of each character (yet to be revealed fully) - it feels genuine and realistic. All characters did great in entertaining throughout the series and will surely please viewers. Jung So Min's performance is splendid - she adapts so well as Na Young Won. Kim Ji seok too did fine. Surprisingly, I've seen many of the latter's shows, but not of the former - this one should change that. The OSTs are also good. Will see how this turn out...gidarilke!!!

Vincenzo is an interesting thriller. It ticks most of the right boxes from a Kdrama point of view. Most viewers should enjoy watching this. The plot/storyline has been well-made. I have a particular interest in the subject, and that greatly added to my enthusiasm. Performances were all good. Song Joong Ki undoubtedly did a stellar job leading from the front, along with Jeon Yeo Been (for the most part). They really looked great as partners. The other characters of Geumga Plaza also did their part well. Certain funny scenes and sequences were impossible without them. The one impressive character other than Vincenzo should be Choi Myung Hee (Kim Yeo Jin). Wow, she was fantastic villain - the only person who had enough brains to give serious challenge to Vincenzo. The other negative characters also played their part fine, but none comes even close to Choi Myung Hee. So, as much as I enjoyed watching this, there were some slight drawbacks here and there, particularly towards the end. Most of these are my own biases - so some might disagree. Firstly, I felt like the plot was losing steam as the story moved past midway. The thrill factor reduced, unlike the way with which it began around EP3, with the demise of Hong Yoo Chan. Some attempt to kill Vincenzo is made at the end of several episodes, but we know he won't die! I made an error as well - I (*We*) started watching this immediately after the 14th Ep was aired, & went non stop - somehow I did not notice that the show actually had 20 Episodes - later it got delayed by another week - and by that time my attention had diverted. For best experience, one need to watch this straight. The identity of the main villain was revealed too early IMO. They should had kept the secret at least till the middle. I also feel that the relevance of Gold and Guillotine File got reduced slightly towards the end - it all came down to zero-sum games, revenge, murder and torture - not exactly to my liking & not the way they started (Yes it might be justifiable due to the mafia/corporate angle but still). Hung chae young's charm also got reduced towards the end - the negligible romance included. I thought Vincenzo will fool everyone and flee with the gold but that didn't happen. The mention of Vaiśravaṇa at the end was interesting - those who understand Asian culture might know :) Overall, I would say that it was a good watch. Watched it on the first day itself. This show is a great attempt to show what happens behind the scenes during a crisis situation. The civil military equation and the mess created by babudom and media is very well portrayed. Actually, this may be the first time I think, the media is kind of trolled for its mischievous pursuit of TRPs. The strong focus on bureaucracy did have an impact on action part. There is little action, compared to Uri or something like Lone Survivor. I do agree that they could've added more action. Small comparison with reality - IMO, the filmmakers mixed two cross LOC strikes. One happened in 2014/15 & the bigger, famous one in 2016. The first one was intended to eliminate a high value *single* target while he visited a safehouse. Some of the action scenes actually depicts this operation - especially that knife attack from behind. The 2016 Ops was bigger with several teams/locations involved. Both the show and book focuses only on one team. Amit Sadh, Darshan Kumar and Neeraj Kabi did a fine job. Head some negative comments about actors performances & comparisons with Uri - at least I didn't feel anything wrong. There is a big difference in watching Uri in a packed cinema hall. This show stands on its own and is much more realistic. I rarely watch Indian series, and this one I watched with family (thanks to covid). Filmmakers should come up with worthy content like this instead of usual meaningless trash. Big salute to Indian Army. Jai Hind

THIS IS REALLY GOOD. 정말 좋아해요. Of late, lots of romance drama lineup in my watchlist - I picked up two from Netflix to spend a boring weekend. The other one was Virgin River. Coming to this drama, it's totally enjoyable and has been executed well - a near nonstop watch didn't bore me at all. The plot for the most part is nothing new. The makers seems to have deliberately kept it simple. Instead, the show heavily focuses on its characters - and that makes a huge touching impact. The strong screen presence of all major characters driven by a very realistic portrayal of their personalities is really impressive - and very much in line with the viewer's expectations. The distinct charm of the three leads is another appealing thing. Their struggle to success feels motivational. Hye Joon (Bo gum) and Hae Hyo (Woo seok) come from opposite backgrounds but chases similar dreams.Their actions and emotions (including latter's jealousy) looked real. One also would not fail to notice Hye Joon's determination. And above all, it was Ahn Jeong Ha (So-dam) who really stole the show. Initially I thought she was dumb - but turns out, this girl is really wise & has got lot of practical sense and realism built in. The ending was also fine to me. It was a bit ambiguous yes, & I noticed the furore going on about this - it's just a drama afterall! I would still like to take it positively that Hye Joon & Jeong Ha will get along. It was also good to see Hye Joon and his dad finally reconcile. Conclusion - A well-made no-nonsense drama. Good potrayal of love, friendship & family. I couldn't find much to complain. It gives the right message & motivation that is very relevant - pursuit of dreams. The OST (Shine On You) was also good. Appreciate the makers, especially for the subject selection. 축하합니다! For those who haven't seen this, I just want to shout to them - WATCH IT!

Finally finished watching this. I must say, this is one of the best 'feel good' Kdrama of the recent times. Its been a while since something of this sort came out - most shows off late were having very serious plots. Song Seung-heon and Seo Ji-hye did great - they've got great chemistry & screen presence, & that hooked me all along till the end. I did watch all episodes non stop & it wasn't boring at all - most of the other characters doesn't make that much of an impact though, except for the two mothers & Naeun with her beautiful looks. 예쁜 아가씨 indeed :) Seo Ji Hye definitely deserved a lead role like this. Previously I liked her performance in Heart Surgeons (must watch if you haven't) & CLoY - obviously everyone knows. Watch this if you are looking for an overall decent, feel good drama with some fun and little emotions.

SO ... INTENSE. IT'S FANTASTIC!!! 대박이다!!! Edit: Watched it again. Wow this drama has now become one of my all time favourite - certainly the best of 2020! I usually don't prefer intense content & avoided this at first - but then decided to give a try after hearing numerous praises from everywhere. And the experience - it was really awesome. The plot was intriguing & thrilling from the very beginning itself. It went well in the first phase where the identity of the killer was not known - I liked it even more after the real villain entered the picture. His plan to trap Hyun-Su (Joon-gi) was terrific...the cracking of the case by Ji-Won (Chae-won) felt *slightly* odd here & there, with the adding of coincidences etc. - but hardly anyone would notice it as one gets immersed into the show completely. The performances of all the actors were fabulous, particularly Lee Joon-gi - the man was stellar. Moon Chae-won too, was very striking - it's not an easy role for sure, but she did it with perfection. And how can one forget the kid - the way she waits for her dad - absolutely adorable...& it felt so real (EP12)...infact all of the family scenes felt real & touching - including the last part. I do feel that the makers could have added a few more *pleasant scenes* at the end (like Hae-soo's return/reunion (Jin-Won had invited her), or a glimpse of Hyun-Su's normal life) - but they just hinted on how things would be like & ended abruptly. Again, this drama gets most of the things right. Fabulous acting, absolute thrilling storyline, touching scenes and a fantastic OST (I feel you 운명처럼 느껴 위험이어도 힘에 겨워도). Also this is one drama in which male & female leads are given equal amount of relevance and screen space. And almost all the scenes are important & directly connected to the main storyline. With Kdramas, sometimes I tend to skip forward when the plot gets draggy - that's not possible with this show. The direction, screenplay etc. too were very good - the makers deserve due appreciation. 이 드라마는 정말 좋아요. "악의 꽃" 팀에 축하드립니다.
