The Blob is one of the essential 50's monster/sci-fi movies that I saw as a 10 year old. This was before computer generated
movies of today. So, if you want to watch a movie that had live actors and clever special effects and a story that keeps
your interest, check this one out. Also, the theme song was a radio hit......"Beware of the Blob."
