Can we not do anything different? Seriously. Bad guy makes bad decisions, learns the error of his ways just in time to save the day, dies in the process. Yadda. Yadda. Yadda. Also, you have a ton of power, but only when it suits the storyline. You can shoot lightning from your hands, but you never do it intentionally because your baddy grandpa can, so it must be inherently bad, but hacking people up with a light saber is okay. You save the world, then go hide somewhere after. Whatcha gonna do? Oh, that's right, wait to die on an island or in the middle of a desert (Yoda, Skywalker, now Rey). You have all this talent, but you'd rather waste it. Could the bad guy turned good guy not get the powerful girl and reign in peace or hide out in peace? Why does power always corrupt absolutely? It felt like the same old, same old. People in Hollywood are scared to try anything new. Just keep repeating the same formula. Keep that up and everything will be as pathetic as the Hallmark channel. I didn't read a single spoiler and new everything that was going to happen. Boring.
