Best film I ever watched. I watch it on repeat so much I have learned all the lines! Depp captured the eccentricity of Willy Wonka's personality so well, and that's why I love this film so much. The castings were perfect. So spot on for each character. Willy Wonka's strange demeanor is what really pulls you into this film. And the way he has this childlike behaviour, and has these flashbacks about his tough childhood tells you so much about him and explains why he acts the way he does - childlike. You can almost tell he never really got to have a chidhood because of his strict father, and this is portrayed very well with just the flashbacks. It creates a whole story In your mind of what his childhood was like. And the way he is mysterious the whole way through really makes me drawn to this character. Theres so much I want to say, but no clue how to word it. The film was just so so so wow. It was captivating, fantastical, and just wow. We all have our opinions, but coming from a 13 year old, this was a truly magical film. 10/10
