The first 2/3rds of the movie are absolutely flawless and everything I could ever want out of a Batman film(and trust me this is a film! Not just a movie). The cinematography and unprecedented acting especially for a superhero flick will have you fully emerged in this world. The story is a engaging and twisting mystery which is all I ever wanted out of Christopher Nolan’s 3 Batman films and never got. This delivers!!! Sadly I could not give it 5 stars for the Liz w fact as the begging of the 3rd act suffers. It suffers from a over use of exposition. I forgive it because I can tell that it was done to purely cut time down on the film. But it does take you out of the action somewhat breaking the age old filmmaking rule of “show me don’t tell me”. But it ends on a high note with the climax leaving you feel fulfilled and wanting more of this world.
