I have been a fan of Andrea Bocelli for over 20 years. He has a magnificent voice! I read his autobiography many years ago and this film stayed true to the book. The story of his childhood and coming to grips with his blindness was inspiring. His uncle and parents were always supportive of him and believed in his talent. Watching him learn how to train his voice and take care of it was a testament to his dedication and discipline.
Also, Antonio Bandaras was wonderful as "Maestro"!
