I heard raving reviews about this movie when it first came out and saw it available to watch on Netflix. I understand the metaphor the movie was going for but the execution of the entire thing seemed poor. I'd assume 99% of people realized they switched places as children (it's a massive horror movie troupe twist ending). The actress who played the mother kinda ruins the film her emotions don't match the scenes she's in.
