My wife and I watched all of "Heartland's" 13 seasons twice (2X). We couldn't get enough of it. It's refreshing to see a great show (out of Canada) without violence, murder, rape, mayhem, police procedurals, and stupid acting like what's being given as the current garbage fare from Hollywood. We can't stand watching the major channels (New York: 2,4,5,& 7) anymore, and only watch the weather on those channels at 6 & 11PM. We've basically pulled the plug on the cable channels and only have HBO left (which won't be much longer either).
Heartland is entertaining family stuff that shows a simpler side of life on a horse/cattle ranch, the hard work involved, great moral stories, showing the love between husband and wife and how the kids grow up without being in gangs or beating each other, and getting back to one's roots.
Here's hoping to at least a couple of more good seasons of "Heartland" after it's 15th Season release.
