In my opinion, this is the very best of all the werewolf movies ever made. Maria Ouspenskaya was a gem. She was born to portray her character in this movie.

For those of you who wrote that the pilot could have talked the young hijacker into giving up...are you kidding?! He was dealing with a 19-year-old brainwashed, highly emotional and scared out of his mind kid!! The kid realized way too late that he had made a horrible mistake in believing the older hijackers, knew he had no way out and nowhere to go. He was too unstable to be talked into giving up. As for those who wrote how unrealistic it was for the pilot to just walk past the dead body of his girlfriend, it didn't appear to me that the police gave him a choice. They had a job to do and needed to clear the plane and didn't allow him to stop and sob over the body of his girlfriend.
