used to be a big scifi reader in the 70s- into the 90s- but picking up the trilogy in the 20s I found myself quite disgusted with the opening narrative, I found no interest to continue with it. So I read a few reviews on the series and decided to give it a go and catch the cycling shows I missed when I dropped the netflix sub. the 1st part felt way too small in terms of cast of characters and.the plot.... rather "djt potus-like". it's heightened garbage
