As the first episode was progressing I noticed very little effort in how to write it. For example why didn’t Kate ask for supergirl to come. But it is not that bad. Here’s why, well the most part Ryan Walder isn’t that bad of a hero you would say. Tho there was no absolute training she was still great and had decent morals than what Kate had. Ryan also explored being as a poor black person! She also was very clear that she wasn’t out there expressing cringe worthy things like in season 1. Also it could be the next black lightning. Ryan Walder also had great acting and her backstory is very depressing which is another reason for her good morals to be A HERO. Just like Barry he had his mother murdered by a thing that went fast making him believe in the impossible! Tho Ryan’s didn’t had that encounter! She saw Alice and knows that Batwoman went toe to toe with Alice giving her a motive as the new batwoman to scare her. Also not to mention that the acting has gotten better in the first episode which is great But the cons are that there will be CRINGE in the show and will still have very weird plot wise. Over all it is a 4 or an 7/10.
