I saw the movie Dunkie and thought it was very well made. It's an unusual topic, well researched and very aptly depicted.

Parineeta's 1st and 2nd halves seemed like two independent movies, connected by the singular thread of babaida's love.The first half of the film was all about a teenager's expeditions, one of which was a strong infatuation towards Babaida. To assume that such infatuation would mature into deep and bottomless love ( from a one-sided relationship), is perhaps concluding far too much.

A difficult plot to bring out as a movie. Well woven, good acting, and designed for the common man. Not a single loose end nor any frivolous moments of boredom. Time and money spent well.

It's boring because it's very predictable. However, in all honesty, Thugs of Hindustan is not a disaster. Just that it lacks creativity and immagination.
