Its a decent enough plot. Its written for adults but as an "adult" I don't need to see such bloody gore! I was watching The Boys and I stopped on the 2nd last show of the 1st season. Never watched the final episode and never plan to. This show has a "teen coming of age" twist to it, makes it compelling, but, I may not bother to watch any more.
If you like blood and guts gore splattered all over, yeah, you'll probably love it. But to me, a GOOD show doesn't need that. We can imagine well enough, don't need the "realism" in a cartoon, let alone in live action like the Boys.

The science is sound and backed up. Evolution isn't even an "if" after reading this book.
