The script, acting and dark moodiness blends so beautifully with poetry from Poe. It deserves more renown. Occar worthy. Well done for this one Netflix. It is more than about depression, it is about the chaos and meaninglessness of life. The last three family members building a rickety stick house to protect the young boy from the reality of his death shows how pathetic their efforts are in the face of a fiery planetary collision. Cold planets dont care about our feelings. Still, the protagonist isnt bothered thinking life is evil yet she shows compassion and care to others. She has no time for dishonesty, is courageous in the face of cowardise of other more flawed humans when the reality of their situation became more unavoidable. Spellbinding, beautifully filmed, lars where are you we miss you

What a perfectly rendered film. The Alps are spare and savage as a backdrop to the creeping plot. Loved the subtle pairing of the hula hoop and the swirling chair. The respect for what is seen and not said. The masculine bully being terminally trapped by the supposed innocent. So so good. Thanks Jane u r a genius. And the story itself...
