We just screened this for a second time, and I forgot how utterly repulsive it was.
Smug, disgusting in-your-face Trumpism awaits a shallow NYC couple when law enforcement hides them in rural Wyoming. Gun worship notwithstanding, Wilfred Brimley's portrayal of a rude smoker reminiscent of 1990's-era tobacco rebels typifies the arrogance exemplified by the residents of fictional Ray, Wyoming. A dusty and grim hamlet filled with people who loath everything beyond the boundaries of their firearm-centered white nationalist dystopia.
I can't believe Grant, Parker and Steenbergen ever signed off on this awful project.
