Taylor should not have top billing. Jennifer Hudson’s presence was profound and she should have top billing. Hayward was magnificent and an awesome choice. Her skill is wonderful. The film could have used a little less singing and more easily understood plot line. However, if you are not into musicals and theater - if you find that it hard to understand this is not your movie. I liked it. It left me feeling hopeful and restful. Sparked my imagination and kept my attention.
