as a long time Bob Marley fan I enjoyed the movie but had a hard time with the dialogue and the Jamaican accents so I felt like I missed a lot of the interactions. The actor who played Bob Marley was very good. I would have loved to see more live footage of his concerts and the concerts they re-enacted were short and limited. I expected more backstory of him growing up but it was all flashbacks that seemed disjointed. Most of the movie took place within a few years when he was already established (in Jamaica anyway) my favorite part was when he and his friends got a recording chance with a local producer and the exuberance they had was infectious.
