Watch Seasons 2 and 3 in succession. Not only were they totally groundbreaking tv for the time, they still jostle heavily for place alongside a few others for the best tv series ever written. They are that good. I'd never seen anything like it at the time, and I've never seen anything else like it since: it's truly groundbreaking; very funny; no canned laughter; has tons of action; is exploding with creative ideas and analogy ... they are magnificent, very emotional, and not without Shakespearean influence either. Don't be fooled by the fact they are over 20 years old: they are over 20 times better than the stuff that is made now. Watch Season 2 and 3 (they are the best) then if you want more try out the other seasons.

I loved Austin Powers, but this is just sensationally unfunny. I found myself just starting at the screen wondering how Mike Myers got it so badly wrong. That his character kept looking at the screen as if to acknowledge the in joke at hand with the audience made it even more painful to watch. There was no in joke. No one gets it. It's just not funny. Lots of celeb cameos; how did they not realise this wasn't funny whilst making it? If you feel need to watch Mike Myers, just rewatch Austin Powers instead.

Loved this show as a teenage kid in the early 90's. All these Instagram fitness models today are still nothing to seeing Jet in motion in Hang Tough.👍👏👌

Season 1, 2, and 3 were brilliant tv. Dived off the pier after that.

Part 1 excellent, totally killed it (5/5). Part 2 ok, but started to feel draining (3/5). Part 3 just plain sucked (1/5). Would have been better as a single episode or a 2 parter.
