To me, the movie "Sour Grapes" is the sequel to 2012's "Somm". To me the movie "Somm" is a comedy, not a tragedy.
In the "Sour Grapes" documentary you watch a billionaire like Bill Koch who admittedly spent millions on counterfeit wine, get an itch and go after the perpetrator of the faux wine. There are several eclectic personalities in the documentary, who *still think* they bought real expensive, real old wines from this guy.
Freakonomics did a podcast on the correlation between cost of wine and the taste of wine, this is their conclusion:
One of these researchers is Robin Goldstein, whose paper detailing more than 6,000 blind tastings reaches the conclusion that “individuals who are unaware of the price do not derive more enjoyment from more expensive wine.”
At the very end of the movie, several of the eclectic personalities partake in some expensive wine that was purchased from the wine counterfeiter. They all loved the wine except one guy, he described what the wine should look like and taste like and called the wine being poured "SKUNK JUICE". BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
