Big fan of Gene Tierney movies, especially Laura and The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, even though the latter, and this film has a few things I don't necessarily believe in in my real life, but it is just a movie, and done very well. This film, Leave Her to Heaven, is one that is hard to find, or purchase cheap, on itunes//AppleTv or Amazon, so with the current Criterion sale, I decided to purchase the Hard copy film. And it does not dissappoint, especially visually. The beginning starts at the Train Station and the view is so crisp, colorful and alive, popping, that you feel like it could have been made a month ago, except you know from what and who, that it was made some 80 years ago. Gene and Jeane are both stunning and my first impression of Colonel is, 'who is the geeky looking light skin geek' but he holds his own quite well, and he wins away the beautiful quite fast away from Vincent Price's character. From then on, you know that is something aloof and that Tierney's character is about to lead you on a whirlwind path of "beauty is not enough" and she is definitely more than "in love too much" and definitely "too jealous" to keep the marriage going, etc. Even with the not so comfortable (to me) sucicidal part, the story is still good, and you just have to get beyond that horrible and a bit 'too inconceivable' plot part of the film, or just assume, maybe she was that much, "too over the top jealous?" - hard to believe it was so popular in 1945 - maybe because it was not too graphic?

Maybe it's just me, but when you have seen all the prior movies and watch this show and you hear so many *F* word bombs from even some of the characters you would least expect it from, it's a big turnoff. It's shows just how much society in film has degraded over time. Oh I know, LBJ was a huge curse machine, but do we have to put it in film, especially tv shows so much?

I thought this was a very good, even though long movie; Rebecca F does a fantastic job, as well as the other lovely women in the movie. Great acting! And, wow, I just found out that Luke E is gay in real life. Never knew that, as he always seemed like a true macho man/ lover of women in the movies he played in. Looks like he could have just about any woman he wanted. What a wacky world. Ha!

First time to watch this final Daniel Craig James Bond film; have been (previously) quite content with the all the previous Bond films by him, and he does a very good job in this film, carrying himself well, for the script laid out for him. However, I did not like what others did not like, such as the 1) Female substitute 007, 2) the weakness of Bond, 3) other layers of wokeness(but not as bad as expected, 4) how boring & tired the film became at times. That said, I did enjoy the film better than expected. It was very interesting to watch & it was a 'Bold' endeavor. No other James Bond explored ending the main character's life in the film like this one, although, for realty's sake, it would have made logical sense. If it was real life, for most of the Bond films, the main character would have died at least what, 3 times? Ha! But, it is just a film, and most men who are fans of Bond expect more, perfection, such as not held down by a woman, not to include weak elements such as drawn out drama, & not anything more than heterosexual elements/drama - most don't care for the liberal themes such as that. Although, it was not portrayed as prominently as some suggested. Q suggests such, but no dude shows up for a date, or whatever. Everyone knows by now that Bond is killed off in this film, but done so in a bravo manner, and probably unpreventable, unless you wanted to have some scenario by which an antidote is come up with & he dives in the water and is saved or whatever. Most likely they will end up with something similar to say he did not die, or they just start all over again, as if it was a new Spiderman, and most certainly only a man, but if not there is plenty of old Bond films to watch. This was the first Bond film I did not watch in its entirety in one sitting, but I did finish it the next day - may watch it again, but mainly just to see the first part - the action scenes & to skip the rest of the Drama - oh, bring back Skyfall, maybe a similar type Bond movie like that one, but actually I liked all of the Craig Bond movies, but this last one, No Time to Die, not so much. I enjoyed watching it, but did not love it so much. I probably will not buy it either, although I own all the others, all Bond movies, online & off line.

Just over the top nutty & an implausible plot of a movie; bullets that can move in reverse, cars that can go backwards faster than forward? Just everything about it is ridiculous and often hard to follow. I gave it a shot on HBO.

Rough - only decided to watch it since I have HBO. Some interesting parts but too dull and dark to keep my interest. Watched half of it but not at all anxious to finish anytime soon.

Dull & Dreadful - I only watched it cause of Rebecca Ferguson, & even she being in it isn't enough to watch it again. I am not a true Sci-Fi person, but I have liked a few, such as Edge of Tomorrow - you gotta entertain people, not bore them to tears! (Watched it on HBO)
