I’m not even British, I know literally nothing about the royal family other than their names. But the show is just like.... so unfunny. Not even in a raunchy way. The jokes just constantly miss and I hate how awkward the speaking dialogue is. I literally only watched the first episode and the way Megan and Harry talk when first introduced is just so cringe. It didn’t make sense at all. I honest to god didn’t understand what the joke was when it was said. All the characters are painfully cliche, but not even in a way to make fun of the royals. But cliche like family guy cliche. The show feels like family guy minus the funny. Family guy if it was written by Walmart. None of the humor made any sense to me. They made the queen the cliche “angry violent old lady” trope. Idk how it’s satirical to the royal family. It honestly feels like someone just based their OC’s character designs off of the royal family and wrote some random script to go with it.
