This movie is one word: Sloppy. It was Also extremely corny/cheesy and filled w/ bad acting. Not to mention, the director essentially tried to sew together a bunch of other movie ideas to call his own which made it very unoriginal and borderline plagiarism. It was like Oceans 11 heist mixed into the Apocalyptic Vegas setting from Resident evil, throw in a nuclear bomb at the end, and mash up every other zombie horror flick to call this movie his own...
Unlike other movies such as John Wick, just for example, where is a lot of attention is given to detail, this movie seemed careless in comparison such as putting under lighting on the backside of the vault door for what purpose? Or my favorite pet peeve, when the main character’s daughter attempts to pull the trigger of a semi-automatic hand gun towards the main antagonist and then the slide of the gun locks back and she realizes she’s out of ammo...For anybody that’s observed the mechanics of a real gun, it is a round being fired and the explosive force that sends the slide of a gun rear wards and if it was the last round, the slide would then lock open. It just looks totally stupid that she pulls the trigger with no more bullets and suddenly the slide defies physics and shoots backwards and locks open.
Of course movies are all fictional but it was just laughable how unrealistic some scenes were like the helicopter falling off the side of the building & regaining lift then somehow mach speeds out of Vegas without getting toast by a nuke and the black character miraculously finds a back door out of the vault, hauls 4-5 sacks of cash out, is totally in affected by nuclear fall out, finds his car in one piece within minutes and drives out into the distance...
