Gutted to wait 10 years for this follow-up. First half is great, then it takes a massive nose dive of highly improbable coincidences: got unwittingly stick in a time machine submarine and surface into a post apocalyptic future… and the first person you meet happens to be your kid? I wish I didn’t waste my time on the previous 500 pages. Not sure I’ll finish this but I’m sure they’ll make a terrible film out of it
