The nostalgic feel of this movie rivaled Ready Player One. While I had initial apprehensions, the nods and easter eggs reminded me that the people making this movie were in themselves, fans of the franchise. The story was great, and I can absolutely see this blowing up in to a franchise of its own, building the Nintendo Cinematic Universe. My absolute BEST hope would be to build out other stories and meet them all together Avengers-style and create a Super Smash Bros movie.
