Google asked me to review this book, which I wrote. Very well: I was quite tired, depressed, and burnt out while writing. It's probably a small miracle that I finished it, let alone sold it. I'm trying to be proud of myself for doing that, and I'm definitely extremely grateful to everyone who made publication possible. You are all wonderful (agent, editor, readers, marketing folks). As for the book specifically, it could be better and has many flaws. There are things in it I like and things in it I'm mortified by. But we can only strive to improve and grow in life, and the many mistakes I made with Book Eaters are a great opportunity to do better the next time around.
