The book gives a glimpse of the US efforts only and that has been a historical problem with the US , the urgency to get an upper hand over the Russians and the reluctance to understand the real issues on ground led to the 3rd front, terrorism in the name of religion, that is not addressed, however the US land the world needs to know people of that era, who truly believed in freedom and the efforts of the CIA , they need to know the selfless services they did which remains unseen. Perhaps that is the nature of the job

It is a great story & when you see a common man falling in love with a beautiful actress , everyone longs for a partner who accepts the other one as he/she is, their appreciation for each other turns to liking and that turns in to love. In these days a common man standing up for a beautiful actress against commoners would be a complete disaster, however even those days it was a difficult thing to do & every human being likes such qualities, the beauty is in the awkwardness , the natural feeling of being completely embarrassed by an obnoxious roommate in front of a beautiful woman, the apprehension of a beautiful actress around a common man , the subtle way a woman suddenly longs for someone and how it could happen , is just beautiful
