BIG EXAMPLE OF FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!
Film was based on a small but very inspiring sakhi in Sikh history. And for that reason it was the biggest disappointment imaginable for me. They did a big dis-service to the Khalsa. The only good scenes were the ones that had the Khalsa panth fighting and that's because they were real Nihangs in those scenes. They succeeded in conveying the message of importance and impact of ardaas to the Waheguru but didn't show that the panth gets these powers from the Guru's baani.
I think most of the budget was spent on the animation. I don't think they hired any writers because the whole plot was basically a generic love story. They didn't even need to use their imagination because the real story is written in Pracheen Panth Prakash by Bhai Ratan Singh Bhangu. You can listen to kathavachaks tell you the Sakhi and that would inspire you more than watching this movie. This movie is a big example of false advertisement, they promised to show the Khalsa panth but 90% of the movie was Zahoor and his love interest.
I looks like the film makers' intensions were good but they didn't have the ability to pull this off.
