A description of her MS would have helped in the beginning. And the wet, garish lipstick should have been removed by anyone who cared for her. She was turned into a gargoyle physically. A good warning for anyone young and brilliant about what awaits from age and illness. A tragedy.

Loved it. It was one of my favorites to reread, although I have rarely made a recipe. Just a sense of afternoon fortifying, and the care and precision of the recipes, the charming illustrations, and the idea of traditional customs that are now gone.

Not much. Terrible put down of the south and its peculiars. I am no psychic but picked out the killer at first sight--means, motive and opportunity. Cate was fine. How was this supernatural? Didn't love or even liked it.

I am terrified of this movie now, since I lost my best pal, a ginger cat who died two years ago of a stroke. I know the story, and feel mentally and physically unable to grieve as I would when Hachi waits for his owner in vain. I must stop in the middle. Hatchi the dog actor is just wonderful and captivating.

Wonderful. Brought me to tears. All actors were astounding and the story of fathers and sons was so powerful.

Opens with a great setup that makes you want to read more, but slowly, since there will not be another this good for a while.

Theo was charming and thoughtful enough to save his own life. But, his Mom was right in the very beginning, asking why he did risky things. I wouldn't send him to the candy store.
