This is one well-written story that captures how humans nature, how we reason, what we believe, what we love and stand for. (Spoiler) Honestly, the loss of Joel and the way it happened was a bit rough, I would have preferred it in a way that would honor who he was, but again just like in life, anything can happen in the most unexpected way. His death even after completing the game just left me broken, It felt like losing someone you had grown close to. Ellie's story playthrough was great for me, and I really enjoyed it a lot, and playing the game on survivor mode, made it worth it. When I was switched to Abby's story, at first I didn't like it all and it was all because of the hate I had towards her for killing Joel. At first, I was just like, let me play through this to complete the game but as I got to know her and her motives and reasons for why she did what she did, I understood her and honestly was not mad at her but rather felt for her. What would you have done if someone had murdered your father, I think all of us would have done the exact same thing, I mean Ellie went on to do the same thing. The ending of this game was great, something you can deeply connect with. For me, the first game was great in its way, the second one was just as amazing, but two different tones. Well done naughty dog, a masterpiece for me.
