Sorry but people who rant and rave about movies like this are either high or really will watch anything. Superbly slow and boring… I guess I just don’t appreciate movies that throw all kinds of things together and hope it makes sense or is creative. Good movie for insomniacs.

I guess you can say a movie is bad when I found myself checking other peoples reviews of the movie and going onto twitter to tweet about anything so I’d stay awake. Really never “got” most Cronenberg movies and I thought I’d give it a shot. I shouldn’t have bothered. Complete dreck! Save yourself- go do laundry!

If you like two hours of continuous car chases and crashes and ridiculous plot with silly dialogue then this is the movie for you. I enjoyed it for 45 minutes but lost me when performing surgery on a spleen on a freeway at 60 mph! Became increasingly just silly and dumb. That may appeal to some- sadly not me.

I never read the book though I do like Stephen king novels for the most part. I thought the tv series would be equally good. I made it half way through and then lost interest. Slow moving and really hard to slug through. Found myself thinking about other things while watching the show. Watching paint dry is equally dull and time consuming. Give it a pass.

I enjoyed the mini series. It is from a Stephen king book so right off that is a plus. I will say though that it seemed they dragged the story into 10 episodes. Half would have sufficed. Characters staring off into space for what seemed like minutes really prolonged things. Nevertheless worth watching.
