It's a mess! And not a good one. Tries to have a similar vibe to "The Big Lebowski" & fails miserably - for nearly 3 hours! Give it a miss - life's too short to waste on junk like this.

Kate is terrific in this movie. I'm so used to seeing her in the "Underworld" films I was surprised that she can really act! This is not a true story but the fact that reporters can be jailed in the US for not revealing their sources is true and a shameful thing for a country which boasts "freedom of the press". It's a sad film - courage has a very high price. Kudos to those brave reporters who risk everything to reveal the misdeeds of those in power who use "national security" to hide behind.

Lovely film. Quite long but it's nicely paced & doesn't drag. Katie Holmes is wonderful - as always. Just about ordinary life told in a beautiful way. Well worth a watch. Ignore the official reviews - they're wrong.

Not bad but not as good as the movies based on the wonderful books by Stieg Larsson. Just like Sherlock Holmes & Doctor Watson the core of the books is the relationship between Mikael Blomkvist & Lisbeth Salander. In this movie poor Mikael is not a central character. It's all about Lisbeth & her evil sister Camilla, played by the beautiful Dutch actress Sylvia Hoeks. The previous movies had a strong Swedish flavour but this one not so much. Some nicely shot scenes - Camilla in her all red clothes & shoes sharply contrasting with the white snow, her blonde hair - and eyebrows! - standing on the bridge & looking across the gap at her sister - the first time we see her. She looks like the Snow Queen from the C.S. Lewis Narnia books. Very cool.

Fairly tedious & a waste of such a talented cast. Great acting from Brad Pitt but let down by an uninspired script & lack of any suspense. The special effects are quite good but not scientifically credible at times. Not remotely of the same high standard as movies like "Alien".

I was disappointed. The story didn't really make sense. I still don't know if Rachel was good or bad. And right at the end it looked like sweet Holliday Grainger might not be so sweet?? But lovely to look at as a nice period drama.

A criminal..... waste of talent, resources & time. The only character with any acting ability & human empathy is..... the nameless dog! Apparently these films have a following but I have no idea why.

Top quality movie! Rachel is amazing, even amongst a very talented cast. Nicely paced with some real suspense about whether the antiquated British legal system can cope with such an enormous evil. This issue is highly relevant today, in general & particularly for Russia's denials of war crimes in Ukraine. This movie captures the scale, inhumanity & evil of the Holocaust perpetrated by the Nazi regime. Have we learned nothing from this?

A Bridget Too Far! Renee looks tired & has lost her spark. Great supporting actors & Ed Sheeran are unable to save this silly & unfunny story. Hopefully that's the last one.

Some classic TV shows like "Frasier" are better left as they were, leaving us with great memories. They got it right back then, the chemistry between the actors worked & it was genuinely funny. This reboot lacks all those things. It just doesn't work & is not funny. It almost makes you feel sorry for the newer actors on board this 'Titanic'. It doesn't have legs & I'd be very surprised if there's another season. I'd really like to be as kind as Rotten Tomatoes but nostalgia for the past can only go so far. I reached that limit very quickly! Sad but true as I was very fond of the original comedy masterpiece.
