You could skip whole chapters in this book and miss nothing. The writer found an idea that worked and entertained in Ready Player One and then cashed in on the shtick. The quests in Ready Player Two are long, boring and forgettable. They are forced onto the reader in the guise of quirky, little-known (or cared about) pop culture references and they add nothing to the story. This book really was awful. Unimaginative, boring and insulting to the reader.
