I love these kinds of baking competition shows and I really like sugar rush. However after watching a few episodes and now finishing up " cake by the Ocean " episode, I'm starting to wonder why all the African American competitors are being voted off, when clearly some of their desserts were spot on. Maybe not taste wise always but designs wise for sure. How can a dessert that just has party mix falling out of a broken chocolate tube, win over a baked cookie with strong flavor? I'm sitting in disbelief because it's know way if I was a judge I would've picked a broken chocolate tube with pretzels falling out over a fresh baked cookie 🍪 OH yeah I forgot to mention they even served the judges something they burnt also. So the pair moving on to the cake round makes no sense. A broken chocolate tube filled with something burnt and party mix🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ it's a no go for me. And I better see a African American team win soon or I'll assume something I really don't want to.
